Calorimeter and Mahler bomb

This instrument is used to determine the heat of combustion of hydrocarbon fuels.

It consists of two parts: the calorimeter and the oxygen bomb.

The calorimeter is equipped with an external structure of panels in anodized aluminium, an internal insulated tank for water to maintain the calorimeter temperature, a stainless steel bucket with blade stirrer and holes to place the bomb and the thermometer.

On the top of the calorimeter there is the thermometer support and the electrodes connection.

The oxygen bomb is made of stainless steel with internal support for the crucible. On the cover there are two pins for the electrodes and the oxygen valve.
